I feel so much gratitude for having met you at the retreat, and for reading and experiencing your book. You have opened me up to so many gifts - it's very difficult to express my feelings. . .
You are a true teacher - creating space through your book and retreat and life for each of us to come to our own truths... I marvel at how you step out and don't do the work for the person - but rather, let each of us come to our own awareness, perhaps with some gentle guidance. You do not allow me to give any power over to you, but rather, give me the strength to trust myself and my own guidance. wow. I'll leave it at that, as i can't really put my feelings into words. But know that I feel tremendous gratitude and love that you are a part of the "beautiful mirror which reflects my reality back to me, exactly as I am"...to quote one of my favorite authors!!

I just finished reading "The G-String Theory". I met you at a show in Providence, RI last year, and I knew that I needed to read your book. I LOVED this book! The timing couldn't have been more divine. It validated who I choose to be.
More importantly than that, however, is the knowing that I received while reading this book. The veil was lifted for me. I truly understand that everything that happens in my life is just a projection and an illusion of my own creation. On some level (a more intellectual one) I already knew this, but I knew that it was now time to take it to the next level of understanding. By owning that, and taking responsibility for it, the illusion is shattered. It's all very simple. And very freeing! I don't need to fix anyone or save anyone. We are all divine. Just as we are. We are all one. We are here to be love and share love.

I purchased our book in early spring and was never able to read it until last week. I took it on vacation with me! I felt the need to tell you how much I enjoyed it.

I have read many, many books "of this nature" and have to say that your ranks up there with my top 10 favorites. My family kept asking what I was laughing about. I felt as though I was right with you in this adventure ... you are a wonderful storyteller!

I recently picked up your book because I recognized your picture, though I didn’t know from where. It took me a few minutes of looking at your picture to realize that I had seen you on TV.

At any rate, I have recently been on an incredible spiritual journey, which has really been more like an abrupt plunge into spiritual waters. The reason is that I lost my husband on 9/11. He was on the 106th floor of Tower One attending a conference. I wanted you to know that I have read your book and have connected with it in such a profound way, so I really just wanted to thank you. Your words have taken me to a new level of understanding and have given me a real sense of peace. I suspect that I will be meeting you someday soon and I look forward to that day.

lana you have woven a Heartwarming tapestry of adventure, prophetic spiritual
insight and good, clean fun. You have articulated well some of the basic causes of
violence and hatred in the world today. Lack of Love, respect and honor for one's
self and for others is particularly cited. "Peace Begins with Me" seemed to be the
general feel. I finished reading the G-String Theory with a new found sense of
optimism and empowerment. Yes, we are each very powerful influences over this
planet's destiny. To Love is my primary responsibility. This book has shifted me.

Ilana, I met you at a lecture you gave last week.

I just wanted to touch you in some small way with a word of gratitude for your
beautiful words. They do, indeed, resonate with your G string theory.

You are a resonating catalyst for change ... I have been sharing my experience of
you with people. You are a unique individual who has been sent by God into my
life. I have no doubt of it because of your kindness. Of course, your wit and
intelligence, really they are inseparable, compliment your kindness.

You are correct about "shifting" in my life. In fact, it seems that the word may be
me. I have three college degrees, but, the kind of shifting I'm now feeling is to
understand, in an integral and intimate way, what it means to hear my soul! I'm a
musician too, so I understand voices. I've played professionally. Indeed, before I
went to hear your lecture, I started writing a song about the very theme of
listening for the voice of change, peace and joy.

I read your book. It is, as you are: sensual, spiritual, humorous and amorous! You
are a story teller, an old, old, old role, perhaps the oldest. Maybe, your soul, too,
is old, yet what youthful vibrancy in it still -- Possibly, in maturity the wasted
vibrancy of youth finally finds fruition. Indeed, you can do something for me.
Continue to open your heart, so that you can lead others to the voice of their
respective souls.

This is one of the finest new books I have read about the new age. The G-String
theory reveals a new way to look at human relationships against the delightful
backdrop of a your journey in India. I've never experienced Sai Baba's
message in this wonderful way.

This book is full of funny and provocative escapades, and always manages to share a new message of bringing love to all those who you encounter. I couldn't recommend this original book more highly.

Let me tell you how much I enjoyed your book! At some points I had to put it down and really internalize what you wrote. So much of what you said struck wonderful chords with me. What particularly resonated with me was when you talked about how you don't need to DO anything or follow anyone or have some material object that is special just to have a spiritual experience. It's all about love! I especially enjoyed the dialogue that you and John had with Bill on the airplane. I always wondered how to handle talking about spirit with evangelical Christians. Your conversation seemed so natural and un-offensive to Bill that it was like a little lesson plan for me on how to handle something similar.

I heard about your book on your excellent radio show, but didn't get the whole gist of it, so I bought it. Well, after drinking for 25 years I grew a hardened, leathery shell complete with an ego ( I didn't even know what one was) I had to stop reading the book and go lookup the word, to see what it was, "hmm" I said, "I have one of those." Wow! this was all so new to me. I'm sober now 9 months, and I have to say reading your book was probably the best thing I could do for myself besides quitting the drink. It taught me how to live in the moment and enjoy this new life I've given myself and my 2 children, because now they have a better man as a father. I see I have a new life. I saw you through my haze 5 years ago on TV, then found your show on the radio and now have read your book.

Ilana, I think you were at the end of the tunnel holding the light when I thought there was no light! I have a new life and I love it. I haven't felt as good as I feel now, since I was that young dumb kid that went away and got drunk. I'm back, and I'm here to stay, and I want to thank you! Thank you!

I continue to read about alcohol and its effects on the brain and I'm amazed, what I did to myself for so long, but I thank God I'm alive and I'll continue to live in the moment and enjoy. I've never been so in touch with my feelings and emotions, they were covered up for so long, and I didn't even know it! I feel honored to read your book. Thanks!

I've just finished reading your book and I must tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed it! I really didn't know what to expect at all although I knew that it revolved around India and Sai Baba. I like the relaxed way that you have written it almost in a diary form and I certainly had a good few laughs at some of the many humorous escapades that you guys experienced whilst there. I certainly could picture many of the lovely scenes that you illustrated and described and I almost felt that I was there with you!

But most important of all you very cleverly wove into the plot your very profound and oh so very true messages. I resonate totally with what you have said and the shift now more and more into what you call the Third Wave. I feel that this has become very potent since September 11 it's almost palpable. I found - in your epilogue at the end - something most fascinating with regard to a calendar which was found encoded into the Great Pyramid of Giza and the dates of the planetary alignment for September 17, 2001 which formed a perfect Star of David. I was so fascinated that I got it up on my astrology computer program and there it was!!!!

So I hope that you are selling and selling and selling and that soon you will need to print many more books and that it spreads around very successfully.

in combining the travel side of a short trip to India with more meaningful messages

I could smell, hear and see your experiences of India. People have to smile and
laugh with you while you play out a typical sale in a bustling Indian market place,
yet you want to turn the pages and find out more about your spiritual journey to Sai
Baba's ashram. You are not forced to judge the philosophies of the man or his
followers.....Just sit back and enjoy a fabulously enchanting journey.
